If you don’t have the seasoning you can mix something similar up using a combination of equal parts rosemary, onion salt, garlic powder, thyme, basil, and parsley. Obviously those are only a few of the spices included in the seasoning but I feel those are the major flavors.

There are a few secrets to the best oven fries. First, use butter! I only used two tablespoons for a whole batch of fries so a little …
Ingredients
- 6-8 russet potatoes
- 2 Tbsp butter
- generous sprinkling Bragg's seasoning or alternate
- generous sprinling onion salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream or plain greek yogurt for dip
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder for dip
- 1/4 + 1/8 tsp onion slat for dip
Instructions
- Peel potatoes and cut into large wedges.
- Get a pot of COLD water and place potatoes in water. Put pot on stove on high heat and bring to a boil. You have the option of seasoning your water with kosher salt at this time if you would like.
- Boil wedges for 10 minutes or just until they are starting to get soft.
- Drain water off of potatoes and turn out onto a sheet tray. While potatoes are hot add butter and seasonings and mix potatoes to evenly coat.
- Bake potatoes at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes or until starting to get golden. About half way through I toss potatoes around on tray to make sure they cook evenly.
- While potatoes are cooking mix sour cream, garlic powder, and onion salt together.
